My journey documenting the things I love through photography, specifically film photography, really started when I found an old reloadable point-and-shoot Minolta in my parents’ basement.

I was fascinated by it, and it felt meaningful to have and use something that had originally been a gift from my grandma to my parents.

I became obsessed with the process of shooting and developing film. It became a bit of an obsession (some might say an expensive hobby).

My camera collection slowly grew over time, and I experimented with all different types of film, new and old, colour and black & white.

Years later, my dad helped me purchase my first film scanner (s/o to Kev). It helped me take things into my own hands.

For me, photography is about our relationship with time, nostalgia and preservation. It’s about creating images that feel personal, lived-in and a little like art.

The goal is always the same. Images you can feel.
